The employee is paid 1.5 times the regular hourly pay when: An employee works between 8-12 hours in one workday. An employee works up to 8 hours on the seventh consecutive day of the work week. An employee works more than 40 hours in work week.
The employee is paid double regular hourly pay when: An employee works more than 12 hours in one workday. An employee works more than 8 hours on the seventh consecutive day of the work week.
